  • A series of mysteries set in the cozy villages of Midsomer County. Things that go bump in the night: Grisly murders rock the village of Fletcher's Cross, casting suspicion on local spiritualists. Dead in the water: When a murder mars the annual Midsomer Regatta, Barnaby and Scott immerse themselves in the rowing world. Orchis fatalis: Malham, Barnaby and Scott must discover who killed the owner of an extremely rare orchid specimen. Bantling boy: Only one person knows why the owner of Bantling Hall bequeathed hchampionion thoroughbred to four villagers and he's dead
  • Second sight: A mysterious death brings detectives to Midsomer Mere where villages claim psychic powers. Hidden depths: A local oenophile is killed by a combination of catapult, croquet, and Chateau Lafite. Sauce for the goose: After a visitor dies while touring Plummer's relish factory, Barnaby and Scott investigate the local food wars. Midsomer rhapsody: When a long-dead local composer is linked to a series of odd events, that link leads to murder
  • The house in the woods: Winyard is haunted, or so the locals say. When a young couple is murdered on the property, villagers believe Winyard's reputation is well earned. Dead letters: When the mother of a former festival queen drowns herself during Oak Apple Week, the question arises: was it suicide or was it murder? Vixen's run: Freddy Butler has been married three times. When keelslls over dead at a family gathering, he leaves an estate worth killing for. Down among the dead men: Barnaby and Jones follow a trail of blackmail when accountant Martin Barrett is murdered
  • Four funerals and a wedding: The Skimmington Fayre holding itsits annual festival, rekindling the age-old battle of the sexes. This year the bodies really accumulate. Country matters: The town of Elverton is in an uproar over a new supermarket. The uproar is only intensified when a stranger turns up dead on the new supermarket's site. Death in chorus: The Midsomer Worthy amateur choir is getting ready for a big choral competition when its tenor turns up dead. Last year's model: Annie Woodrow's trail for murdering her best friend is beginning when Barnaby begins to have second thoughts about who really did it
